Heaven Sent Pit Bull Rescue is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, dedicated
to changing the lives and reputations of the misunderstood Pit Bull Breed. We rescue Pit Bulls from high-kill shelters, who's
only crime is being born a Pit Bull.
Heaven Sent not only adopts our pits as pets, we also train them to be important members of their community, as service animals,
search and rescue, therapy, public education, or any other special needs that are requested. We give each one of these angels
the chance to be a voice for all Pit Bulls.
Thanks to Elijas Segundo from E&e Productions, we will have video footage of "CHANGES" E&e
Productions is also donating their time and equipment to host our Mc Alister Park Event "Pits and Pals" Can you say God Sent Us An Angel?

Popeye had a complete ocular exam, including retinal evaluation, performed by an ophthamologist, and it was determined
that, while his globe has had severe trauma, it was not the result of glaucoma (as originally thought.) This, combined with
his very young skeletal development, has lead us to postpone removing his eye indefinitely. While he may have limited
vision in this eye, it is not causing further pain or discomfort to him at this time and we feel that removing the globe early
could in fact negatively impact the proper formation of his skull. He will need to have medication applied to his eye
(for lubrication) several times a day as the globe is slightly larger than the eye socket in his growing skull. In time,
he may outgrow the need for medication as his skeletal bones mature, providing adequate room for his globe. As
he continues to grow and change, we will reassess how his eye is affecting him and if there will be any need to remove the
eye in the future. Thank you for all your support and prayers!
