Heaven Sent Pit Bull Rescue is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization, dedicated to changing the lives and reputations of the misunderstood Pit Bull Breed. We rescue Pit Bulls from high-kill shelters, who's only crime is being born a Pit Bull.

Heaven Sent not only adopts our pits as pets, we also train them to be important members of their community, as service animals, search and rescue, therapy, public education, or any other special needs that are requested. We give each one of these angels the chance to be a voice for all Pit Bulls

Update on Popeye
Popeye saw an optometry specialist at Lackland Air Force Base on Monday May 23rd, 2011. They are concerned that the eye removal could damage his skull. He has another appointment Wednesday May 25th, 2011 to determine the best treatment plan for Popeye. I want to say thank you to all who have donated and continue to donate to Popeye's medical fund. Your generosity is a true blessing.  I will be posting regular updates on his condition. Please keep Popeye in your prayers. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
